Terms of service

Last updated 25 June 2026

These terms cover using Parly while it is in private beta. They are short and written to be read. Using Parly means you agree to them.

The service

Parly is a collaborative inbox that sits on a mailbox your team already uses, operated by Blake / Bratelement. It gives you individual logins, assignment, notes, status, an audit trail, restricted send, and the option to answer email from Slack.

Private beta

Parly is in private beta. We set up workspaces by hand, the product is provided as is, features may change, and we do not offer an uptime guarantee during the beta. We will tell you before anything material changes.

Your account

Everyone on your team signs in with their own login, not a shared password. Keep your credentials safe. You are responsible for the activity in your workspace and for the people you invite to it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Parly to break the law, to send mail you are not authorised to send, or to abuse, harass, or harm anyone. Restricted send helps keep replies on an allowlist, but you remain responsible for the content your team sends.

Your data and your customers' data

You control the mailbox content you connect, and you are responsible for having a lawful basis to process the email of the people you correspond with. We act as your processor for that content; see the Privacy page for the detail.

Availability and support

We work to keep Parly available and to fix issues quickly, but during the beta support is best effort, by email. There is no formal service level while we are in beta.

Fees

Parly is free during the private beta. If and when we start charging, we will give you clear notice first and you can decide then. We will never start a paid plan without telling you.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Parly is provided as is during the beta, we limit our liability, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending it

You can stop using Parly at any time and ask us to delete your workspace. We can suspend an account that abuses the service. On closure you can export your data and we delete it within a reasonable window.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands, and any dispute goes to the competent courts of the Netherlands.
