Parly

Microsoft Teams

Reply to customer email from Microsoft Teams.

Connect your shared mailbox to Parly and link it to a Teams channel. Every customer email arrives as a card; press Reply, write your answer, and it goes out as real email from your own address. The team sees both sides in the thread, and what you type there stays an internal note.

Included in the €19 mailbox: no add-on, no per-agent seats. The whole team answers, however many people that is.

Approved, refund it. Typed in the thread, so it stays an internal note.

So sorry about that, Marta. Your refund is on its way.

Why we built this

We looked for this for a long time and could not find it, so we built it. We wanted our shared mailbox answered from the place the team already talks, with the reply going out as a normal email from our own address, and without paying for a seat for everyone who might answer.

How it works

Three steps from mailbox to channel.

Step 01

Connect your mailbox

Sign in to your Microsoft 365 shared mailbox from Parly, or connect any other mailbox over IMAP. Nothing about your mail setup changes.

Step 02

Add Parly to a channel

Your admin adds the Parly app to Teams once. Pick the team and channel, then link the mailbox with a short connect code.

Step 03

Answer from the card

New email arrives as a card with Reply and Open in Parly. Reply opens a dialog; send, and the customer gets a normal email.

Reply

A real email, written in Teams.

The Reply dialog knows who the customer is and what the thread is about. Your answer is sent from the shared mailbox, threaded with the customer’s own email, and mirrored back into the channel so nobody answers twice.

What you get

Teams for the conversation, Parly for the record.

One thread per conversation

Every reply from the customer lands under the same card, so a case reads top to bottom in one place.

Internal notes in the thread

Discuss a case right under the email. Messages in the thread are saved as notes in Parly and never emailed.

Replies from your address

The customer always hears from support@, never from a personal account, and replies land in the mailbox's Sent folder.

Who answered, on record

Parly matches the teammate who pressed Reply and keeps the full history and audit trail with the conversation.

Open in Parly when it gets bigger

Assignment, status, SLAs, AI assist and attachments are one click away in the full inbox.

Slack too, if you have both

Teams and Slack use the same inbox behind them. Each mailbox goes to the channel your team actually reads.

Why a shared inbox behind Teams

Forwarding support@ into a Teams channel gets the email seen, but not answered: you still switch to Outlook to reply, nobody knows who took it, and the answer goes out from whoever happened to be signed in.

Parly keeps the mailbox as the source of truth and makes Teams a place to work it from. The reply is a real email from your address, the discussion is an internal note, and everything stays on the conversation in Parly, with its owner, status and history.

Questions

Can I reply to customer email from Microsoft Teams?
Yes. Parly posts each new customer email in a Teams channel as a card. Press Reply on the card, write your answer in the dialog and send: the customer receives a normal email from your shared mailbox, and the reply shows up in the card's thread for the rest of the team.
What happens when I type in the thread instead?
Anything you type in the card's thread is saved in Parly as an internal note on that conversation. It is never emailed, so the team can discuss a case right under the email without the customer seeing it.
Do I need to change our Microsoft 365 mailbox?
No. You connect the shared mailbox you already have with a Microsoft sign-in. Mail keeps arriving where it always did, and replies are sent from that same mailbox, so they land in its Sent folder too.
How do I add Parly to Teams?
Your Microsoft 365 admin adds the Parly app to your organisation, from the package in Parly's admin, and you add it to the team and channel you want. Then you link a mailbox to that channel with a short code. A listing in the Teams app store is on its way.
Who is the reply sent as?
From the shared mailbox, so the customer sees support@ (or whichever address it is), not a personal address. Parly records which teammate pressed Reply, so the conversation history always says who answered.
What does it cost?
Teams is included in the €19 mailbox, with no add-on and no per-agent seats: €19 per mailbox per month for the whole team, and the first month is free. Prices exclude VAT.

Answer customer email without leaving Teams.

Connect your shared mailbox, add Parly to a channel and press Reply. €19 per mailbox per month, unlimited teammates, first month free.
