Microsoft 365 shared mailbox
Your Microsoft 365 shared mailbox, run as a team.
A shared mailbox in Outlook is one login for many people: nobody knows who is answering what, two colleagues reply to the same email, and the ones nobody picked up go quiet. Parly connects to the mailbox you already have and gives everyone their own login, an owner and a status on every email, and replies from your own address.
The problem
Shared mailboxes were built for reading, not for answering together. Unread and read are the only states, so “someone is on it” lives in people’s heads. Replies go out from the shared address with no trace of who wrote them. And when the team shares a password to get in, there is no way to tell who did what or to remove one person’s access.
A full help desk fixes that, but moves your mail into a ticket system and charges for every person who touches it. Parly keeps the mailbox exactly where it is and adds what a team needs on top.
How it works
Connected in a minute, nothing to migrate.
Sign in with Microsoft
Connect the shared mailbox with a Microsoft sign-in. Nobody shares a password with us, and there are no DNS or MX changes.
Invite the team
Everyone gets their own login and access to the mailboxes they work on. Unlimited teammates on every plan.
Answer together
Assign, set a status, leave internal notes and reply from Parly, Slack or Teams. Replies go out from the shared mailbox.
Since this morning every label we create triggers two webhook calls. Could someone take a look?
Ownership
Every email has an owner and a status.
Open, waiting or solved, and whose it is. Mine and Unassigned make it obvious what is left, a colleague viewing the same email shows up live, and nothing is answered twice.
What changes
The same mailbox, with a team around it.
Own logins
No shared password. Add and remove people in a click, and see who did what in the audit trail.
Assignment and status
Take a conversation or give it to a teammate. Open, waiting and solved instead of read and unread.
Internal notes and @mentions
Discuss a case next to the email without forwarding it around. Notes are never sent to the customer.
Replies from your address
Customers hear from support@, threaded with their own email, and the reply lands in the mailbox's Sent folder.
Answer from Teams or Slack
Every new email as a card or thread in a channel, with a Reply button.

- How do I see who replied to an email in a shared mailbox?
- Outlook shows that a reply went out from the shared mailbox, not which colleague wrote it. In Parly everyone signs in with their own login, so every reply, note and status change is recorded against the person who did it, and the conversation shows who answered.
- How do I assign emails in a Microsoft 365 shared mailbox?
- Microsoft 365 has no built-in assignment for shared mailboxes; teams use categories or flags and agree on them by hand. In Parly you give a conversation to a teammate or take it yourself, and Mine and Unassigned show what is yours and what nobody has picked up (assignment is part of helpdesk mode).
- Do we have to move our mailbox or change DNS?
- No. Parly connects to the shared mailbox you already have with a Microsoft sign-in, so nobody hands over a password. Mail keeps arriving where it always did, there are no MX or DNS changes, and replies are sent from the same mailbox.
- Do replies still show up in Outlook?
- Yes. Parly sends from the shared mailbox itself, so replies land in its Sent folder, and anyone who still opens the mailbox in Outlook sees the same mail.
- Is it an Outlook add-in?
- No. Parly is a shared inbox in the browser, and you can also answer from Slack or Microsoft Teams. Nothing is installed in Outlook.
- What does it cost compared to a help desk?
- €19 per mailbox per month with unlimited teammates, first month free, prices excluding VAT. Help desks usually charge per agent, so the price climbs every time someone joins; Parly's does not.
